We are looking to appoint an Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to ensure a high standard of secretarial, administrative and management support. You will need strong, proactive organisational and IT skills, including SIMS. You will also be competent with handling sensitive information and be able to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times. As an experienced administrator you will be able to maintain deadlines and stay on track, following policies and procedures.

The successful applicant will need to be flexible, friendly an efficient and able to work calmly and accurately under pressure, ensuring their role is completed to the right standard. Duties will include a wide variety of administrative and clerical tasks, reception and telephone duties, as well as working positively with staff, children and families. Previous experience of working in a school would be beneficial.

The role is for 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus staff development days).

Information about the school

Kennington CE Academy is Good, 3 form entry (12 classes) for Key stage 2 of around 360 pupils, situated in North Ashford and serving a mixed community of children who are enthusiastic about learning and their school.

We have strong relationships with our feeder Infant school, Downs View, and The Towers, our nearest high school. Our church school status has lead us to develop close links with the local parish church. We are sponsered by Aquila, the Diocese of Canterbury Academy Trust.
