30 hours per week
Fixed term contract until 8/5/2020
The Corporate Communications Department provides a centralised service for both the University’s internal and external communication, combining media and public relations, publishing and public events expertise.
This post, is based on the main Chester campus, but has the potential to have work commitments at any of the University’s sites and off-campus. You will undertake high level administrative duties for the Department, while planning, organising and managing routine and one-off special events.
Having led on events management you will have flawless attention to detail and be highly proficient in IT, with a talent for efficient and wellorganised administration and a diplomatic approach to challenging situations. You will have experience of maintaining and updating web and social media content and be proficient in working with databases and finance systems.
The successful applicant will be educated to degree level. Flexibility to work occasionally outside of normal working hours is essential for this role.
