Role Summary
We are seeking a strong candidate to fill a Senior Knowledge Analyst position in the TMT Practice. The new team member will support the TMT Practice by providing subject matter expertise and analytical support for consulting teams and supporting both local and global practice development initiatives. As a Senior Knowledge Analyst, the candidate will partner with case teams to identify and address critical knowledge needs, provide customized knowledge for client work, prepare accurate, well-developed documents and charts, and deliver original analyses and insight to the case team. The candidate should have experience and subject matter expertise on Telecommunications services with a specific focus on UK market and then on Europe. The role will cover all industry segments: fixed/broadband, cable and mobile operations. As a secondary focus (nice to have, not mandatory), the role will cover operation functionalities for telecom operators: field force maintenance, call center & customer relationships, some network and IT operations.
- Possess developed skills and knowledge in a PA and topic/sector
- Gain a sophisticated understanding and application of PA topic/sector knowledge for case teams
- Work with case teams on expert research and deliver original analysis and insights
- Provide thought partnership and expert source know-how to case and topic/sector teams
Position responsibilities
Work with case (and proposal) teams
- Partners with case teams to identify & address critical knowledge needs
- Provides customized knowledge for client work, prepares accurate, well developed documents and charts
- Delivers original analysis and insights to case team, provides thought partnership
- With guidance from Lead Knowledge Analyst, identifies right expert & connects him/her with requestor
- Liaises with DRS to ensure that requests for expertise are addressed by KT and appropriate research is delivered
- With consultants, collects, synthesizes, analyses case team learning & inputs into new knowledge products (vignettes, experience)
Work with topic/sector teams
- Builds & updates new topic/sector-related customized knowledge products
- Controls KM databases consistency
- Reviews knowledge products & ensures they are current & relevant and updates when appropriate
- Assures proper sign-off before uploading materials into KM & contributes to sanitization
- Writes abstracts & indexes projects & PA documents
- Collaborates on PA intellectual capital development such as Tier 1s
- Contributes to content development around topic/sector for PA meetings & trainings
Job requirements
- Very strong analytical skills
- Expertise in the Telecommunications service industry (fixed/broadband, cable and mobile), particularly on the UK market
- relevant research and analysis experience across the broader UK Telecommunications market essential
- Collaborative, strong team player
- Strong work ethic & service-mentality
- Strong codification & development of Telco knowledge to provide and build customised knowledge products for Telco sector
- Ability to build & maintain a strong industry network

- Master degree or more
