We have exciting plans to grow the business and therefore require an experienced and enthusiastic Software Developer to join us at our brand new office in Leeds City Centre.

Reporting to the Digital Director, you will contribute to the development of our existing in-house recruitment technology (a multi-tenant ASP.NET MVC C# MS-SQL system), bespoke career microsites, and new projects, working on both front-end and back-end aspects.

With substantial development experience, the successful technology enthusiast will be quick to learn and assimilate new technologies and ideas and will be educated to Degree level; ideally in computer science or a similar technical discipline.

Commercial experience of C# and ASP.NET will be required and you should also have knowledge of MVC, MS-SQL, HTML/CSS/JavaScript along with Entity Framework and source control systems (e.g. Team Foundation Server, git).Skills in .NET Core and Xamarin would also be an advantage to contribute to new applications.

Our ideal candidate will have worked on public facing, business critical systems or products including demonstrable experience with web technologies.  Strong time management and communication skills are also essential for this role.

In addition, knowledge of Server Administration, particularly around IIS, and MS-SQL administration would be beneficial, however is not essential.
