Optical Assistant
My client, an award winning, global optical retail chain, is looking to recruit an Optical Assistant for their growing team in Essex. They offer more responsibility and involvement than other retail chains, and you will be encouraged to get to know your customers, helping them to select the right products for their eyewear and eye care needs.
No two days are the same, except for the high expectations customers have when it comes to the client's brand and service. You will be encouraged to build a rapport with customers through listening and acknowledging their needs, plus you will get involved with booking eye examinations, completing eye health screening and helping select the best eye care solutions for each customer.
This role comes with a real feeling of satisfaction from helping the customers look and feel great, which is why my client looks for individuals who take real pride in delivering exceptional service and who love talking to people.
Previous optical experience is desirable, but not essential, as you will be given all the training you need to feel confident delivering the very best optical service to customers.
All my client asks is that you have a desire to provide the very best in quality customer care, an outgoing personality with a positive attitude and energy, good customer service skills and an enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and grow as part of a busy and close-knit team.
