This company are looking for a Goods In controller based Ledbury

Due to continued expansion and growth we currently now have a vacancy for a:

Goods-In Controller
Your main responsibilities will be to strategically manage all Goods In supplies and work alongside the Stock Controller and Production departments to ensure excellent control of stocks throughout the whole production process. It is therefore essential you have good teamworking skills.
You will also require good communication skills so that you liaise effectively with other departments including Purchasing, Engineering and Sales so that Purchase orders are planned effectively.
You will also be responsible for:
•Goods Returns and the processing of.
•Ensuring space is always maximised.
•Ensuring all components are clearly identified and stocks are easily manageable
•Maintain inspection records.
•Following company health & safety procedures.
•Complying with all quality system requirements.
•Maintaining good working practices and housekeeping
Due to the nature of our products and manufacturing you will also be expected to support production and warehouse departments during quieter times. Galebreaker can be very seasonal and it is expected that approximately 30% of your time will be required to support these departments over the year. You therefore must have a flexible and team approach to your day-to-day work
To be considered for the above position you must have: -
•Minimum of three years Goods In experience and a proven track record
•Ability to self-manage but also to work within a small team
•Good overall IT knowledge and familiar with MRP production systems
•Organised and reliable individual who can influence others on good working practices
•Excellent communication skills
•A good basic understanding of Lean manufacturing including Visual Management, Kanban and 5S understanding would be advantageous although training will be given.
•Fork lift licence (Reach &/or Counterbalance &/or Combi lift) - training will be given
•Must be team focussed.
Salary / package:
•Salary will be GBP20,500-GBP22,500 depending on experience. The company operates an incremental salary banding structure which encourages Multi-skilling and efficiency improvements.

•20 days holiday plus 8 Bank holidays (rises to 25 days plus 8 Bank Holidays with service)
•The company operates an annualised system so that hours are worked to reflect the seasonal order book. Currently this is a 4-day week (30hrs) in low season (April-June) and 43.75hrs in high season (Sept to December). All hours are paid at 37.5. This system is subject to review every year.
•37.5hrs/week (Mon-Fri) 08:00 - 16:30 (The company operates a successful flexi-time system to support customer demand).
•Overtime is also expected during our busy season, paid at 1.5 rate
