Part Time Trainee/ Design & Print Operative for established and friendly company with ambitious growth plans.
Job Title: Part Time Trainee Design & Print Operative
Location: Cirencester
Hourly rate: GBP7.70 - GBP8.21 per hour
Hours of Work: Ideally Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday 0800 am - 4.30pm, with some flexibility on these hours potentially available.
Additional potential for role to grow and for full time hours in due course if required.
This role may suit experienced Design and Print candidates looking for part time hours and the opportunity to mentor. The role is also available as a trainee opportunity.
Working as part of a small team, the role will follow the customer journey from enquiry and order to the finished printed product run for despatch for on time delivery.
The Design & Print Operative will use Graphic Design software to produce samples and follow the design process to customer approval and sign off, for print production, and order completion ready for despatch.
The role will also involve operating print equipment and will assist as part of a team to fulfil customer orders on time.
This opportunity will also involve assisting with other office functions to cover absence and holiday, full training offered.
Qualifications and skills:
* Attention to detail essential
* Good MS Office skills to include Excel & Outlook
* Graphic Design software knowledge of Corel Draw, Adobe desirable or a demonstrable interest of Graphic Design and Print
* Capable of fully understanding and working to process and to quality standards under own initiative.
* Strong work ethic and team player required
