Fixed Term Maternity Cover

We have great opportunity based at our Corby campus for a Customer Contact Adviser to become a key member of our Student Recruitment department.

As a Customer Contact Adviser, you will play a key part in supporting the success of our students through:

  • Providing a high quality information and advice service to customers, in line with the College's customer service charter and set service standards, supporting the achievement of applications, conversion, recruitment and retention targets.
  • Playing a key role in participating in school events and College Open Days in order to attract applications.

Our ideal candidates will have Experience of working in a customer service environment and exceeding customer expectations and experience of providing advice to customers using a variety of communication methods, e.g. face-to-face, via the telephone. Additional Experience of working in a reception and using a switchboard, alongside the following qualifications:

  • A good standard of education, including English and mathematics at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent
  • A professional information, advice and guidance (IAG) qualification, or the willingness to undertake a Level 3 Customer Service apprenticeship
  • Evidence of continued professional development

Contract Type -Bedford College Professional Services Ltd (BCPS Ltd)

20 hours per week (0.5 FTE) / 52 weeks per year

25 days holiday per annum, pro rata
