EVENT & FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER
40 Hours per week
5 days per week including 1 weekend day
Full weekends and late finishes will be required on and during the lead up to events
Salary: £16,500 - £20,000 per annum

We’re looking for an imaginative, motivated and hard-working event co-ordinator to join our team. Seasonal events at Manorafon Farm Park are growing in popularity every year and this is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual with event planning experience or education. Based at the heart of our operation; front of house, you will also be responsible for day-to-day admissions, bookings and check ins. Excellent customer service will be essential.
Responsibilities & Duties
Event Co-ordinating
Creating event proposals which fit the character and limitations of the venue
Developing existing events
Bringing these magical events to life
Anticipating and planning for different scenarios
Planning multiple events at once
Staying within budget while planning events
Communicating with design agencies to create effective advertisements for each event, and when necessary crafting marketing materials internally
Utilising social media to promote events
Maintaining a working relationship with suppliers
Coordinating event entertainment, including music, theatrical sets entertainers and actors
Managing and overseeing events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming visitors, directing event set-up, communicating with staff, and organising suppliers
Creating sales opportunities for future events during events
Completing comprehensive evaluative event performance reports
Front of House
Receiving and managing bookings in person and by telephone
Checking and processing online bookings
Welcoming visitors and guests
Providing excellent levels of customer service
Creating and maintaining a well-stocked and well-presented gift shop
Training and supervising front of house staff
Keeping a good record of bookings and messages
