Office Depot has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager - Indirect to join the team based in Milton Keynes. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary plus excellent benefits.

About the Procurement Manager - Indirect role:

If so, why not come and join us as our Procurement Manager - Indirect as part of our European Office Depot Team based in the Milton Keynes Digital Innovation and Delivery Centre.
Key duties and responsibilities of our Procurement Manager - Indirect:
- Lead commercial and contractual interaction and negotiation with external suppliers to ensure that service, cost and delivery are secured
- Ensure that all procurement processes are undertaken to ensure best value
- Assist budget holders within our DI&D in managing spend
- Development and maintenance of ongoing cost reduction and savings opportunities
- Where appropriate, new process improvements across all category areas
Essential skills and experience required to be our Procurement Manager - Indirect:
- Experience with Indirect category spend, ideally with knowledge of technical products
- A strong and demonstrable background in securing strong supplier bases while maintaining rigorous cost control
- First class stakeholder management skills
- An excellent negotiator
- Ideally CIPS or MCIPS Qualified
