Strategic Advisors - Banking / Finance - 18 months - Edinburgh

We have a fantastic initial 18-month contract role available in Edinburgh for a number of skilled Strategic Advisors.

Our client is looking to take on a number of skilled contracting professionals to fulfil a variety of high-level, organisation-wide functions within their emerging, financial services organisation.

These include:

Human Resources -

• Establishing HR strategy,
• Designing and implementing talent processes and reporting,
• Contract management, development of employment policies and people requirements
• Working with transfers across sectors (TUPE), and identifying recruitment needs
• Establishing induction and training frameworks

Organisational Development -

• Developing Target Operating Model
• Scoping out establishment of future systems - including HT, IT, and corporate systems
• Establishing and implementing processes for transition of existing operations into the new organisation
• Establishing a programme management framework and managing necessary transformation programmes
• A strong understanding of operation risk and regulatory business risk

Finance -

• Setting and establishing a financial plan, linked to overall strategy
• Designing, implementing and managing financial processes and reporting across a portfolio of investments and/or loans
• Experience preparing management accounts and financial management information
• Establishing and managing budgets and understanding relevant accounting standards
• Identifying internal business and operation risk

Risk -

• Setting and establishing a Risk strategy for the new organisation, linked to overall strategy
• Managing risk across a portfolio of loan or equity investments
• Strong understanding of corporate, business, and project risk
• Establishing and managing regulatory applications and approval processes
• Operating at credit committee level un understanding credit of investment opportunities
