Lecturer in IT
Full Time: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: GBP23,265 - GBP28,624 per annum

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Lecturer in IT.
The ideal candidate would have experience of teaching the underpinning theory and practical activities related to Computing and IT courses.
The role requires teaching a range of programmes including City & Guilds and BTEC courses, from Entry level 3 through to level 5. Working as part of a team you will support the operation of our CISCO academy and the delivery of part time courses in the community.
Candidates should have a speciality in delivering the programming pathway at Level 3 (using object orientated languages e.g. Java, C#). Experience in computer networking would also be an advantage.
Knowledge of the principles and concepts of Computing and IT is essential to this role as is having excellent communication and organisational skills, alongside a commitment to working effectively as part of a team. Enthusiasm for your subject and the ability to support Study Programme learners with English, Maths and Employability Skills will be a key to the success in this role.
Central to the work you do will be enabling students to aspire beyond their initial intention and reach a potential that equips them to progress into work, higher education or apprenticeships.
