We are currently seeking an Associate Director, Qualitative or Quantitative or a mixture of both!

What you'll be doing:

As an Associate Director, you'll lead the design, execution and delivery of complex projects focused on either qual or quant methodology. You will work alongside experts that provide custom and syndicated research to a wide range of clients from Pharma, Biotech and Medical Technology industries. Our Custom Healthcare team uses both quantitative and qualitative methods, as well as innovative techniques such as social listening and ethnography, to meet the exact need of the client. They cover the whole drug lifecycle from early development to positioning in the market.

We like to grow our own Researchers so you'll fully involved in people management - recruiting, developing & managing. Working with Directors, you'll take an active role in developing client relationships (retaining existing business and/or developing new opportunities).

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading on overall delivery of projects, taking responsibility for design, execution, analysis planning, delivery and presentation of results
  • Working closely with relevant experts, design overall methodology to lead on proposal writing
  • Contribute effectively to client pitches / lead pitches for smaller projects
  • Financial management - for project costs and overall project profitability. Able to produce and review budgets/costings for proposal.
  • Looks for opportunities to improve our offer, performance and client delivery
  • People management - for direct line reports and junior staff on projects, giving, receiving and seeking out feedback on performance. Recognises and celebrates great work and addresses problems.
  • Managing and leading by example, is a positive role model.
  • Facilitating and directs knowledge transfer, personal development of team members and achievement of team goals

About you:

We are looking for someone with proven experience of working with healthcare and/or pharma clients in market research. You must be able to clearly articulate complex and detailed issues, demonstrating flexibility and creativity, able to adapt to client's requests with a positive solution. You'll need to be confident in client communications and engagements, leading presentations / debriefs / workshops.

You'll be someone who is intellectually curious, constructively challenges existing thinking, systems and processes and suggests alternatives. We like to continuously innovate, so you'll look to challenges the status quo.

You'll be proactive in your own development, someone who demonstrates self-awareness: understands own strengths and limitations. Listens to and learns from constructive criticism/ feedback. Proactively offers upwards feedback and secures senior support when necessary.
