Credit Control

My client is a public sector organisation, located in Whitechapel they are seeking an immediately available Credit Controller to come in and chase overdue credit within the finance team. The position will be for 3 months and there is a possibility that this role will become permanent.Client DetailsThe client is a public sector organisation who provide supporter services, advice and care to those in need and are based in Whitechapel. The position will initially be for 3 months temporary, with the possibility of the person going permanent at this time.DescriptionDealing with internal queries about payments, ensuring customers pay on time and negotiating re-payment plansEnsure that debts are paid in a timely mannerChase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescalesMaintain accurate records of all chasing activityRegularly making contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessaryIdentify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtedness ProfileThe successful candidate will be a strong communicator and be a good team-player.
