Nexus Resource Solutions have an excellent opportunity with one of our manufacturing clients for a qualified Accountant.

The client is a global service provider to the electronics sector. The company has a global footprint with offices in Scotland, Ireland, America and Israel, with several agents across Europe.

Within the accountant role, you will be expected to manage the UK finance department (2 direct reports), responsible but not limited to the below tasks:

* Producing monthly management accounts & Presentations

* Attending board meetings to present results.

* Manage small team of bookkeepers and Admin staff

* Weekly and monthly payroll

* Bank management (Reconciliation, payments, international payments)

* Invoicing

* Cash flow forecasting

* Liaising with auditors and year end filings

* Tax & VAT return prep and filing

* Excel and Power point skills required

* Experience of invoice financing advantageous.

* Processing applications/claims for grant funding.

* Dealing with contracts/renewals of insurance policies/energy contracts/phone contracts

They use Quickbooks and Xero bookkeeping system and maintain contract accounts and sophisticated job costing.
