LOCATION: Castleford, West Yorkshire
JOB TITLE: Apprenticeship Opportunities - Apprentice Joiners, Bricklayers, Groundworkers, Painters & Decorator and Excavator Operators

WORKING HOURS: Full Time - Monday to Friday will require early starts
THE COMPANY & ROLE: Are you a school leaver looking to become fully qualified in a trade within construction, with a well respected company who you can develop a long lasting career with?
Our client are a family run business and are a long established residential housing developer who have been trading now for 54+ years and are specialist builders of new build properties for sale within Yorkshire, East Derbyshire and beyond. Due to the continued successful expansion of the business they now have a range of fantastic apprenticeship opportunities which would be perfect for someone who is about to leave school or is currently studying A-levels at College and expects good results.
They currently have a range of new Apprenticeship Opportunities in a range of areas such as Joinery, Bricklaying, Groundworks, Painting & Decorating and also as an Excavator Operator. The employer will invest time and effort for reliable and dedicated individuals, and will support and help guide you through the apprenticeship where you will receive both hands on job training/experience but also in a learning setting at a local college. The company has a proven record in developing its staff and giving them long terms career prospects after completion of the apprenticeship - some of the current staff are still happily with the company 35 years after completing apprenticeships.

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidates for the Apprenticeship Opportunities (Apprentice Joiners, Bricklayers, Groundworkers, Painters & Decorator and Excavator Operators) will need to live within close proximity and be able to get to Castleford, West Yorkshire and will also need to have minimum of a C or Grade 4 GCSE. Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate a real passion, creativity and interest in their chosen field, and will need to show a willingness in developing a career.
