We are looking for a qualified and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician who wishes to change direction and pass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation.
The role is for a trainee workshop tutor to work for one of the country's leading training providers, to help inspire learners to realise their potential as they support, advise and guide them through their training programmes.
SALARY: up to GBP22,000pa for trainee
LOCATION: WOLVERHAMPTON
As a Motor Vehicle Tutor/Assessor you will be responsible for ensuring that learners achieve the appropriate vocational qualification and skills as part of their Study Programme or Traineeship. You may also be required to support with the delivery of Functional Skills. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Motor Vehicle Mechanics, and have a strong desire to move into teaching. You will have a minimum level 2 competence (or be able to evidence occupational competency) in the vehicle repair industry.
Requirements
Candidates must have the following skills, experience and qualifications to be considered:
- Occupational experience within the Motor Vehicle Industry 2-3 years min
- Level 2 Motor Vehicle Qualification or at least 2-3 years working experience as a motor vehicle technician
- Willingness to undertake relevant training for teaching and assessing qualifications
- Strong desire to inspire young people
