Because the wide range of Industrial Automation projects handled by my client is getting wider and larger, as part of the Company's growth, we will be adding extra Engineers to the Design Engineering, Project Engineering and Control Systems Engineering team throughout 2019.
An opportunity exists for a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join the team which designs the control hardware and software for projects including PLC HMI SCADA, MES, Electrical Control and AC DC Drive Systems.
You'll be involved in all aspects of the project, start to finish, design, programming, documentation, handing over most of the site aspects to commissioning engineers, controlling the direction that the project is taking too. It will get you involved in a wide variety of work from steel to food to plastics to materials handling, conveying and converting machinery projects- the variety to keep it interesting, and move your career forwards.
We won't get everything- but some of the following experience would be good:
PLC programming (such as Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Siemens S7 etc) - Controls hardware, software design - knowledge of electrical control and Variable Speed Drives- SCADA such as WinCC, Wonderware Intouch, RSView.
And an interest in a bit of variety, a wish to get involved in a growing company, run by Engineers and planning to keep the work varied, interesting, and their Engineers at the front of technology.
