Our client is a family run business, with roots that have been well established in the bathroom industry for more than 100 years. Their company specialises in creating bespoke products producing everything from sanitaryware to shower enclosures, bathroom furniture to brassware. They supply leading bathroom distributors and retail multiples with bespoke products, designed exclusively for them for use in the UK market.

They are now looking for an Internal Health and Safety Co-ordinator to assist in developing and implementing their Health & Safety related policies and procedures.

Identifying safety issues, proposing corrective actions and following them through to completion, you will assist with the preparation of company risk assessments and review and approve sub-contractor risk assessments, helping to resolve any issues identified. Keeping up to date with relevant changes in law, ensuring that they remain compliant with current Health & Safety legislation, you will also report on any internal incidents and corrective actions whilst liaising with the enforcing authorities.

All that they ask is that you have previous experience of a similar role and have a good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation. IOSH managing safely or a NEBOSH certificate would be a distinct advantage, however this is not essential.
