£45,000 - £50,000 Per Annum

THE ROLE

As Production Manager you will have full site responsibilities, your role will require the day to day management of the site, to efficiently deliver product excellence by the vigilant management of people, materials and equipment.

You will also be responsible for the management and delivery of production planning schedules, to deliver a right first time, high quality product, on time to our customers.

The role will require you to set and cascade goals, agreeing objectives that will deliver process improvements through the execution of lean tools and techniques to increase productivity and eliminate waste within the site, thereby increasing efficiencies and striving for increased profitability.

The management of employee holiday, absence, disciplinary and health & safety procedures are an integral part of the role also.

THE PERSON

We are looking for a high calibre candidate with the drive and ambition to take ownership of a fast-paced production site, becoming a catalyst of change. You must be analytical in approach and demonstrate the application of continuous improvement principles in all aspects of the role.

It is essential that you have a proven track record of achievement in a manufacturing environment and have successfully led the implementation of lean manufacturing, process improvement and quality improvements.
