We currently have an opportunity for two Health and Safety and Fire Risk Assessors to join our dedicated team in Leicester and we really want to hear from you if;
 
You are a team player qualified in Health and Safety and Fire Risk Assessment with experience in social Housing;
Are customer focused with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships;
Have an organised and structured approach to work;
Are able to work with minimum supervision and plan and prioritise your own workload and the workload of others;
Have the ability to work on your own initiative whilst maintaining a team ethos.
 
This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to work as an integral part of the Compliance and Health & Safety Team. You will provide comprehensive fire and health and safety risk assessment in support of the compliance throughout the areas managed from the Leicester office, covering all aspects of building safety, fire risk assessment, and contractor and employee safety and wellbeing. The successful candidate will be a strong team player who puts customers first, will be qualified to an NVQ Level 3 or higher in Health and Safety and Fire Safety Management, will have completed an IFE recognised fire risk assessment qualification and will have a positive 'can do' attitude. You will be highly organised with a passion for service excellence and continuous improvement and will be a strong communicator who is confident when liaising with people at all levels. Being capable of working to deadlines is essential as is having knowledge of housing maintenance, repair specifications, diagnosing defects and remedial works. You will ideally also have strong knowledge of social housing management and of housing / property management systems (Northgate or similar). You must have a valid driving licence and daily access to a car, with room for a ladder, for business use.
