ABI (UK) Limited is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of Award-Winning Caravan Holiday Homes and Twin-Unit Homes.

Applications are invited for a Compliance Inspector to join our Technical Team. The prime objective of the role is to ensure that ABI product fulfils the requirements of all applicable British Standards and meets the requirements of the National Caravan Council approval schemes. 

The role will incorporate providing technical assistance in support of all activities associated with the manufacturing of Park Homes and Holiday Leisure Homes.

Duties will include the inspection of ABI Residential Park Homes to BS 3632:2015 standard and ABI Holiday Leisure Home products to EN 1647, ensuring compliance to both standards. Training will be provided to attain NCC Self Certification Scheme, Approved Inspector status.

Additional duties will include undertaking quality audits, monitoring and reporting irregularities or defects. Liaising with production teams and Managers to promote best practice & implement corrective actions. Actively and accurately assisting in the measuring, weighing and monitoring of new and existing product and providing data analysis of results.

To be considered for this position, you will have experience of working within a fast-moving production environment and be familiar with general inspection techniques. An ability to absorb and comprehend British Standards Institute building and engineering standards is essential, as is a trained eye for detail. You must understand the health and safety requirements of working in a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will bring a professional approach to this key position, be able to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, with a methodical approach to tasks.  The ability to work independently with limited supervision often in a pressurised environment is essential.  You must have excellent verbal and communication skills and a working knowledge of MS Office.
