We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers with immediate starts for our client based in Basildon
As an HGV Class 1 driver, the work will involve delivering retail items to stores throughout the South East, meeting delivery schedules whilst remaining within EU and Domestic driving legislation. You will be required to carry out thorough pre and post trip vehicle checks and also some collections if necessary. No deduction of break will apply. Shifts available on all start times across 7 days. In return for your commitment we can offer regular shifts and start times that suit you.
As an experienced LGV1 driver, you will ideally have -
* 12 months HGV driving experience
* No more than 6 points
* Digi card and DCPC
Reward Package for the role of LGV1 driver includes the rates below:
* Monday To Friday Days - GBP13.50 per hour
* Monday To Friday Nights GBP14.50 per hour
* Saturdays - GBP16.00 per hour
* Sunday & Bank Holiday - GBP18.00 per hour
* Paid breaks
* Free use of on-site gym and large store discount - can only be used after a qualifying period
PAYE and LTD drivers welcome!
Based in Basildon the locations is commutable from Brentwood, Romford, Grays, Thurrock, Chelmsford and Southend-on-Sea.
