Administrative Assistant (Postgraduate Taught Programmes)

Salary: £19,730 to £21,414 per annum – Grade 3

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated administrator to join Professional Services in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.  Professional Services is responsible for providing a customer-focused, high quality academic administration to students, academic staff, senior managers, and University & NHS partners across the full range of the Faculty’s undergraduate and postgraduate taught & research degree programmes.

You will carry out administration duties in support of the postgraduate taught programmes delivered within the Medical School (and other programmes where necessary), with particular reference to curriculum delivery and assessment.

You will have experience in general office administrative duties.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team, with experience of working in a complex organisation and who has good IT skills that include the use of spreadsheets and databases. The post will be located at the John Bull Building, Derriford although travel to other sites may be required.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis for a period of 12 months due to business demand.
