Want to make a role your own? Are you creative, organised and have a passion for recruitment? An exciting new role has been created at Ability Housing Association, which will impact the way recruitment is managed across the business.

The immediate role of Internal Recruiter will be part of a fast paced and dedicated HR team, solely responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process reporting to the Head of HR. You will be an experienced recruiter and understand the importance of advertising and sourcing candidates through social media, online channels and professional networks.

The role will predominately be the recruitment of Support Workers as well as Managerial positions and therefore experience of recruiting social care staff is an advantage. You will also liaise with our Housing and Central Services functions, which covers Finance & HR with their recruitment needs.

I am looking for likeminded recruiter who shares the same vision and values of Ability and will support the business by implementing suitable, cost effective recruitment strategies and report on recruitment trends, turnover and retention. You will have experience of attending recruitment fairs, creating and writing JD’s, as well as have an eye for detail for adverts that make Ability stand out as a first choice provider and an employer of choice. 

Regulatory experience is required to ensure Right to Work, DBS and references checks are complete. You will have the ability to negotiate with recruitment agencies, have experience in shortlisting and interviewing of candidates as well as promoting internal and external recruitment initiatives.

Additional Information

The role will be based at our Head Office in Staines, working hours are Monday to Friday 9 to 5 pm (35hrs per week)
