Personal Assistant (PA)
Salary: £30,525 to £33,000
Location: Croydon
Tenure: Full-time

Hello, we’re the Pension Protection Fund.  We protect the futures of millions of people in the UK who belong to defined benefit pension schemes.  Our members rely on us to look after their pensions if their employers go bust and the pension schemes cannot afford to pay what they promised.

We’re currently looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) to join the team and provide full administrative support to our Chief Customer Officer and support the Director’s management team.

Within this Personal Assistant position, you will be proactively managing the diary of the Chief Customer Officer, ensuring diary clashes are prioritised, meeting rooms are appropriately booked and all other business needs are facilitated. You will also be responsible for organising internal and external meetings, completing visitor forms, provide the secretariat for the Formal Management Team meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and chasing action owners for progress updates.

We are looking for an individual that has experience of working as a Personal Assistant, ideally working with Directors of an organisation, and has extensive experience of diary management.  You will be personable and able to build a rapport with the wider team within the business, have a ‘can do’ attitude to all aspects of the role and be able to prioritise your workflow.  As this is a varied role you will need strong IT skills, strong communication skills (both written and verbally) and the ability to pick up a number of ad-hoc tasks as they arise.

We are open to full time and part time applications for this position.  Part time hours would cover 4 days per week.

Now is a really exciting time for us. We’ve got big plans for 2019, and beyond, and we’d love you to join us.

In return for your skills, experience and commitment we’ll give you a challenging role in a dynamic business where you’ll get the support you need to develop your career in a vibrant environment. And of course, you’ll also get a competitive rewards package including Bonus, very strong Pension Scheme, Private Healthcare and much more.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
