Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator (Temporary)
GBP26K - GBP32K

Venatu Recruitment Group are currently working in partnership with our client for a temporary Health, Safety & Environmental professional to work within the HSE department. The successful applicant will be responsible for improving the HSE culture, developing and implementing appropriate HSE policies, managing HSE systems, driving behavioural change and improving employee competence.
Key Duties, Qualifications and Skills:
* An excellent comprehension of current Health, Safety & Environmental legislation in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience and good understanding of working practices and safe systems of work
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
* Experience of working with Machinery - PUWER, COSHH Assessments etc.
* NEBOSH General Certificate (diploma would be desirable).
NEBOSH or IEMA Environmental qualification would be desirable.
* Computer literate with Spreadsheets and PowerPoint as well as good reporting writing and presenting
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Travelling as required to support other sites, therefore applicants will need to hold a full driving licence.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday - 8.00am - 4.30pm
Salary & Benefits:
* Competitive salary, dependable on experience: (GBP26k - GBP32K)
* 28 days' annual leave including BH. On completion of one full years' service accrue an extra day up to a maximum of five extra days.
* Pension scheme
* Life Assurance up to 2 x annual salary linked to the pension scheme
* Sharesave Scheme on annual invitation.

* Childcare vouchers & Cycle to work scheme
