A market leader in the development of Opto-Electronic Products now requires a Process Engineer to join their team based in South Devon.
Reporting to the Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing manufacturing processes to increase production rates, improve manufacturing processes and reduce cost.
You will scope and design processes, implement production equipment, cost control and process risk assessments.
Qualifications / Experience:
* A HNC/HND in Engineering, preferably degree qualified.
* Proven experience working as a Process Engineer in Optics, Fibre Optics, Electronics or Opto-electronics.
* Experience implementing lean manufacturing techniques, i.e. 6S.
* An understanding of NPI strategies and objectives.
Additional Information:
Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested.
