Cash and Valuables in Transit Operative - Kent (Night Shift Work)
Someone with Security or Doorman experience would be ideal

Someone from a security/doorman background ideally already holding but not essential a SIA licence with a valid driving licence and a passport would be ideal for this role. If you are not already SIA qualified then we will assist with your training and application. Full training will be given.
An excellent opportunity has become available with our client, based on the Medway City Estate in Rochester, Kent. Our client is an award winning fin-tech start-up and is now in an exciting and rapid paced stage of growth. They have developed the world's first self-service coin currency exchange kiosk which will dominate the way money exchange is transacted. They are a world leader in the design and manufacture of automated foreign exchange kiosks. Their kiosks can accept a vast amount of different currencies including currencies which are now out of circulation and turn these into pounds, euros or US dollars. With leading edge technology, they aim to have global presence within the next couple of years. With contracts already signed with TfL, Westfield and Virgin Rail, they will shortly be dominating money exchange transactions within the rail network in the UK. Further plans for the European and overseas markets are presently being negotiated including kiosks being installed on P & O ferry crossings from Dover to France.

We are looking for a trustworthy, professional and proactive individual with a good team working ethos to join their team. We seek an individual who is a well organised, flexible, experienced and highly motivated who has excellent skills.
We currently have a great opportunity for Cash and Valuables in Transit (CViT) Operative to join our team. As a CViT Operative, you will be working in Kent, Dover docks with the possibility of collecting the money on the cross channel ferries to France and occasionally in central London. You will be involved with the stock side of our kiosks collecting the money they hold.
Due to the nature of the industry in which we operate, you will need to be confident working to rigorous procedures within a highly-regulated environment, be highly adaptable, quick to learn, able to work autonomously and with little direction, and preferably have an interest (or already be) in becoming SIA Cash and Valuables in Transit qualified.

Criteria for the position are:
.Hold a valid/clean driving license with your own transport
.Have some security/doorman experience
.Hold a valid passport to gain access to the Kent ports & travel on the ferries

??Strong communication skills with good understanding of English
??Willing to work after hours shift hours
??Have a smartphone with data
??Be physically fit
??Be able to attend training at our Kent based factory in Rochester
??Six month probation period
??A 10 year checkable employment history. You need not apply if you have a criminal record that will prevent an SIA licence being granted, or any current or settled CCJ's or IVA's in the past 6 years that will appear on your credit history.
What Is The Role?
The role is focused on customer service and building our brand. We run a 24/7 customer focused business. Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, you will stock & empty our kiosks in mainly Kent and assist in maximising their ability to dispense/exchange cash using a multi-drop schedule. You will work with a CViT qualified driver and will be required to wear a body camera when on duty for security.
What Will I Be Doing?
??Replace stock units regularly, this requires a level of fitness and confidence in using stair climbing equipment
??Understand security levels and adhere to them
??Comply with company security policies and procedures
??Respond to performance appraisals and concerns
??Manage returns and stock as directed
??Escalate kiosk technical problems to Logistics Supervisor for logging with technician support team

Working Hours - Immediate Start if possible
??Full time position has a working pattern of 5 shifts per week, and shifts can vary. Night work hours throughout the region, including the TFL network, starting at 10.00pm to 07:00am, with an hour of flexible breaks in this period. These hours can vary by an hour each way depending on the start location of the shift.
Salary - For the right person the salary will be between GBP21000.00 - GBP23000.00 P/A
