Estimator / Project Manager / Installation Project Estimator

Job Title: Commercial/Semi Commercial Experienced Estimator

Location: Blackpool FY2, Lancashire

Salary: £29,000 - £33,000 depending on experience, plus bonus

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Company was founded in August 1996. Over the past 17 years, the Company has followed a continuous path of steady and controlled growth.

They have been at the forefront of energy efficiency in their area, promoting condensing boilers and energy efficient controls and work closely with the Energy Savings Trust.

Now they are looking for an experienced Commercial/Semi Commercial Estimator with business development skills required to join their expanding, fledgling department.

Job Duties:

• Estimator who is competent working on larger works e. Schools, Public Buildings and Private Sector, typical values are from 10k-500k
• Surveying, estimating, preparing tenders for plumbing, heating and mechanical projects
• Prepare cost budgets and cost estimates for new contracts
• Keep existing contracts up to date, including making amendments, providing new cost estimates, and maintaining communication with the client
• Maintain relationships with existing clients keeping a sales-minded attitude and seek out and build relationships with new clients
• Seeking out new work opportunities/possible business development
• Pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts
• Communicate new service/product developments to prospective clients

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience within Estimating
• Enthusiastic, good social and communication skills and approachable disposition
• Experience of working as part of a team
• Able to work on your own initiative
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
