Our client is a HR consultancy based in Altrincham, offering a wide range of services to SMEs from all sectors.

The business provides HR advice and guidance; documentation; on-site support and training. This is not a call centre environment, They offer bespoke services and work as a team to provide the best consultancy services possible to their clients.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced HR Consultant to cover maternity leave commencing in April for a period of approximately 12 months. You will work closely with the Senior HR Consultant, to provide a timely and professional HR advisory service. Dependant upon workflow and company growth this position has the potential to become permanent should the candidate be interested.

Duties include:

Providing advice over the telephone and by email;

Producing HR handbooks and contracts;

Drafting letters

Providing on-site support where necessary.

Based in Altrincham the role will involve some travel to clients' sites, mainly around the Northwest region.

The successful applicant will need to have:

* At least 18 months' experience in a similar role.

* Preferably CIPD qualified up to level 5.

* Good general knowledge in all areas of employment law.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Excellent organisational and time management skills.

* A good work ethic, able to provide a high-quality service whilst striving for continuous improvement.

* Hold a current driving licence.

In return you will recieve:

* Salary up to GBP28,000 depending on experience.

* 28 days holiday (including bank holidays.)
