Finance Assistant | Energy
Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5.30
Salary: GBP17,000 to GBP22,000 doe
Start date: As soon as possible
Study: We are happy to support you with AAT study
Location: Corby, commutable from Wellingborough, Kettering, Northampton, Stamford, Leicester
About us
We are an energy broker based in Corby looking for a finance assistant with several years' experience gained within accounting. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, we value our staff, they are our most important asset, we develop and invest in them, you could be one of our valued team.
About you
You have gained experience over several year's within a similar finance role.
You are fully competent with both sales and purchase ledger, coding, matching and posting onto an accounting system, we use Xero.
You enjoy and have proven reconciliations experience, mainly bank reconciliations
Month end reporting does not phase you, adhoc tasks will also be part of this role
You are able to analyse data and interpret the information
You are proficient using Excel, desirable skills include pivot tables, Lookups and macros
You may also have the following: Xero, Accounting, Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Reconciliations, Month end, reporting, analysis, analyse, AAT
