Exeter College Day Nursery is situated in the city centre in a modern purpose built nursery. Our 40 place nursery has three base playrooms all of which lead into a large garden to the rear of the building. We are close to all main transport links into the city.

We are looking for a dedicated and motivational Nursery Nurse to join our nursery team. Your role will include providing quality care, fun and education under the EYFS, ensuring all health and safety requirements are adhered to, providing a stimulating and safe environment for children, providing curriculum plans as required, keeping up to date records of achievement for the children in your key group, liaising with parents/carers and supervising the room in the absence of the Senior Nursery Nurse.

The successful applicant will need to hold a recognised childcare qualification at Level 3 (such as NVQ in CCLD, Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce), or equivalent, and have experience of working as a Nursery Nurse with children aged 0-5 years.

You will have a thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and have a commitment to the provision of high quality childcare. You will have an enthusiasm for working with young children and will have a warm and caring approach.

The college also offers a generous holiday allowance of 28 days per year excluding bank holidays and an additional 2 weeks off at Christmas. You will also have the option to join the local government pension scheme.

The closing date for receipt of completed application is Sunday 17th February 2019 at midnight.

Interviews will be held on Tuesday 26th February 2019.
