Electricians / Electrical Engineers / Supervisor
Experienced and qualified Electricians, Electrical Engineers, Supervisors required by expanding family run Electrical Contractor business based near Leicester. Competitive salary package of potentially over GBP50,000 (plus van, pension, 29 days holiday) offered depending on skills and experience. Hours: Basic 43 hour week with additional overtime and weekend work necessary.
We are a family run Electrical Contractor business trading for over 40 years who are now looking to recruit a number of candidates to grow with our business and contribute towards our future success.
You will be working within our friendly team of electricians in the following electrical sectors: commercial; industrial; quarries, basic installations, automation and repairs / maintenance. We pride ourselves on excellent customer quality and service both within our electrical and administration teams, working for our group of companies from our Head Office. We work across a spectrum of different sites, ranging from standard industrial electrical installation, automation and breakdown cover.
Role:
The ideal Supervisor candidate will be able to assist and run small to medium size projects. As an Experienced Electrician you will be expected to work in all types installation and all types of industries along with basic fault-finding knowledge on machines.
You:
Disciplined and enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to work autonomously or as part of the wider team.
-Good communicator in order to encourage and motivate trainees and offer assistance and advice as required.
-Use your initiative, prioritise workload and think ahead, along with excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills.
-Attitude for both maintaining and developing our client relationships.
Skills and Experience:
-Time Served Apprentices (NVQ 3)
-City & Guilds 17th/ 18th Edition
-Testing & Inspecting (2391/2394/2395) - preferred but not essential.
-Commercial & Industrial Electrical Works experience minimum of 5 years.
-Preferably worked and diagnosed faults on industrial / quarry machinery.
-Full UK Driving Licence
-Active in highlighting areas for planned maintenance as well as the planning and execution of works.
-Beneficial: IPAF, First Aid
