HR and L and D Advisor
Telford (North)
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Up to GBP30,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm
Our client is a well-established manufacturing company who are now looking for a HR and L&D Advisor work alongside a team of five in a busy HR department to cover maternity. The main focus of this position will be generalist HR duties, mainly employee relations with some course delivery and training.
You will be responsible for:
* Employee relations case work including disciplinary and grievance process and absence management
* Recruitment
* Coordinating training and development
* Tracking the L and D budget
* Delivering in house training courses
* Induction process
* Overseeing Apprentice program including making sure the company is on top of levy, all the assessments are completed on time, apprentice progress and one to one meetings have been completed
Overview of the candidate
To be considered for this role you will have previous HR experience at Advisor/ Officer Level ideally within a manufacturing company. It would be advantageous if you've had some involvement with L&D. You will be comfortable with the range of duties covered in this position and be confident to be able to deliver some training when required. Due to location you must have your own transport.
