Job Type: Permanent.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: B Eng or BSc. Chartership MICE and/or MIStructE.

Salary: Very Attractive Salary Package, dependent on experience.

Stroud Associates Ltd are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer/Director Designate for our busy office and extensive client list. We have a varied and interesting workload ranging from bespoke domestic projects to multi-storey commercial schemes nationwide.

We have earned an excellent reputation nationally and locally over the past 18 years and have several respected clients running high-value projects, leading to our rapid expansion.

Working closely with the current directors, the successful candidate will be expected to manage a range of projects with a variety of clients, and have the right experience and ambition to develop within the company, with a route to Directorship for the right person.

For the right candidate we are able to offer opportunities to manage a team of people with potential for progression to assist with the management of the business and possible company ownership in future.

The ideal candidate will have experience using AutoCAD, Masterseries, Tedds, SCIA, Microdrainage and Excel spreadsheets; however, training will be provided.

The office is based in Harkstead, near Ipswich, with a mainline station to London/Norwich and the North. The Shotley Peninsula is a tranquil stretch of land on the Suffolk Coast, where the Rivers Stour and Orwell meet the North Sea. This is a great location for sailors, walkers, bird watchers and cyclists. Constable Country in the Dedham Vale and by contrast, two of the busiest ports in the world - Harwich and Felixstowe are just a few miles away. Local schools are excellent.
