The Development Technician will maintain and service all types of motorcycles as well as stripping and rebuilding pre-production and production engines. You will prepare and maintain bikes, engines and components for road, track and rig testing as well as providing on and off site testing and motorcycle support. You will record and feedback information and observations on motorcycles and testing direct to Engineering teams and ensure you keep your records meticulously up to date.
This is a practical hands on role, which will require drive and determination to see projects through from concept to conclusion with a minimum amount of guidance. You may be required to do some overseas travel, however this is well planned and only occasional.
The ideal candidate will have already worked within a workshop environment and have previous experience of working within an automotive /manufacturing environment, however this is not essential.
You will have extensive experience of engine and chassis build with sound technical knowledge of motorcycles. Good communication skills are essential along with your flexible approach to work.
A full car and motorcycle driving license is essential for this role.
