My client is a large manufacturer who have recently undergone a restructure. Due to this they are seeking an experienced and CIPD qualified Senior HR Advisor to be based at their Doncaster branch and support a number of their sites nationwide.
Reporting into the Head of HR the duties and responsibilities of this role will include:
• Support managers and team leaders with all HR related issues including advice in relation to all employment policy and legislation
• Assist the Head of HR in complex ER cases including re-structure, redundancy and TUPE
• Support with various project work such as training and performance management
• Ensure that terminations and exit processes are managed adequately
• Assist in the production of management reports
• Recruitment - supporting managers with the assessment of vacancies, short-listing and interviewing
• Assist in the production of management reports
I am eager to hear from candidates who have experience ideally working within manufacturing but other blue collar industries too, it's important you are used to dealing with trade unions. You must have a strong advisory background and enjoy the variety a generalist role offers as this role offers just that.
You will be CIPD qualified, level 5 minimum and happy to travel nationwide on an ad hoc basis. This may also require some overnight stays from time to time.
