Do you want to develop your project management skills and work for a well established, successful association with an impressive portfolio of events?

Our client is looking for an Event Operations Executive - sponsorship activation, to develop operational sponsor relationships and manage delivery of client contracts for sponsored events; liaise between sponsors and suppliers for online and printed content.

The role

  • project manage of clients for events and webinars - provide full operational assistance to sponsors and exhibitors before and during events; liaise with the events team and external suppliers to deliver all sponsorship contracts
  • manage existing sponsor relationships and ensure ongoing engagement
  • gather feedback from clients and produce post-event reports and analysis
  • review and maintain departmental systems and processes
  • maintain database and conduct analysis of sponsor relationships and packages, as well as competitor activity
  • organise print run from the database and produce mailing list for printers
  • liaise between the external publisher and editorial sponsors (e.g. for copy chasing and sharing proofs with sponsors)
  • process magazine subscriptions and maintain subscription records (e.g. managing returns)
  • produce editorial and advertising contracts
  • invoicing and debt chasing for advertisers and editorial sponsors

The person

  • Your previous operational experience will ensure you can effectively deliver brilliant, profitable events.
  • Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to liaise well with a variety or stakeholders and within a close-knit team.
  • Your drive for a fast-paced environment and motivation to do well will enable you to efficiently complete all tasks that bring the event together.
  • you will have excellent organisation skills, meticulous attention to detail, good interpersonal skills - confidence to present observations/advice to (senior) colleagues and clients
  • Knowledge and experience of working in an events team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player willing to adapt to a fast paced environment and offer high quality admin support
  • IT knowledge
