A fantastic opportunity has come up to work with an independent contract caterer who specialise in providing fresh home cooked food to the care sector.
Ideally you will be a classically trained chef and able to cook to high standards using fresh and seasonal produce. It is essential that you can manage and motivate a team and have strong leadership skills. You must strive to deliver on exemplary standards of food quality and presentation that is consistent and of high quality.
The unit caters for 27 residents and 5 staff daily.
The role requires:
* Excellent organisational skills
* Classically trained C&G 706 1/2 (or equivalent)
* A creative and innovative approach to menus and special diets
* A passion for exceeding customers' expectations
* Team building
* Systems developed to ensure consistency
* Excellent people management skills
* A passion to engage effectively with residents, relatives and visitors.
