Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing's Production Support Division has a fantastic opportunity available for a CNC Turner for a business based in Sheffield with a very busy order book.
Working Monday to Friday on a regular day shift pattern.
You will be required to program, set and operate a CNC Lathe using Heidenhain controls (training given on the controls if fully conversant in Fanuc).
Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Setting and operating a Heidenhain CNC Lathe
• Ability to program from a drawing
• Working on small to medium components
• Adherence to health & safety standards
• Strong emphasis on quality
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
• Excellent attitude to work
• Engineering background- precision engineering experience at least 3 years
• Programming, Setting and running CNC machinery - CNC Turning Heidenhain or Fanuc controls
• Experience of working within a machine shop environment
• Great communication and teamwork skills
