We are working with one of the UK's leading regeneration service providers to recruit a Land and Partnership Manager to join their Partnership Development team. The company are passionate about creating vibrant, efficient and sustainable communities, using integrated energy and services in order to improve the environment we live in. The company is based in South Yorkshire and so requires somebody who can easily travel around the region.
About the Role
We are looking for a commercially astute individual who can identify, assess and pursue potential new land opportunities. Key responsibilities will include:
* Working with the Major Projects Director to ensure that all tender opportunities are identified and pursue those deemed commercially viable in line with the 5 year business plan
* Reviewing and monitoring Regional and Local Authority Planning and Housing documentation and OJEU notices for future land / partnership opportunities
* Negotiating land values with the involvement of the Projects Director/ Head of Partnerships and the Project Manager
* Developing relationships with partner organisations to advance scheme progress and explore additional opportunities
* Liaising with statutory authorities, Planning & Highway departments, assisting with accurate preparation of feasibility reports
* Carrying out detailed financial feasibility research for all schemes; preparing comparables and benchmarks
* Appointing solicitors and assisting in the production of all legal documentation in respect of all land purchases within the required timescales
* Maintaining good relationships with other House Builders / Land Agents / Local Authorities / Consultants / Statutory Authorities / Solicitors / RSLs / Government Agencies and the like necessary to effectively deliver the role
About You
To succeed in this position you should demonstrate previous experience working in a similar role in land identification and acquisition, perhaps for a property developer of house builder. You will have a keen eye for detail as this role will be responsible for compiling comprehensive and sometimes complex information. Finally You will prove to be a natural communicator with a consistent record in establishing relationships with clients and customers.
