Class 2 Drivers

Our Client is an international multi-service provider, offering textile, hygiene and facility services solutions. Present in Europe and Latin America, they are a leader in most of the 28 countries in which they operate, employing 45,000 professionals at 440 production and services centers; this is a great opportunity to join a company that supports their people!

They now have a number of opportunities available for Class 2 Drivers to join them based from their Northfleet depot which delivers a Hotel Linen service to a large geographical area covering Kent, London, Essex, Sussex, Surrey, Hertford and Middlesex.

With knowledge of Drivers hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph compliance and experience of carrying out safety checks, vehicle defect reports, time sheets and fuel logs, you will be the last point of call between our Client and their customers and so you must be customer focused and flexible in your working hours.

In return they offer excellent rates of pay on a 6 day / 5 day rotating shift pattern:

£13.01 (working Monday to Friday and then every other Saturday)

OR:

£14.05 per hour if working both Saturday and Sunday with weekly rest days to be confirmed

All that they ask is that you hold a CAT C / Class 2 licence, a driver CPC and ideally have some Class 2 driving experience. Please note that the job is of a physical nature, delivering and collecting cages of linen and sometimes may involve some bag work and you will be expected to pass their in-house driver assessment upon appointment.
