CE Media is looking for a creative but methodical Group Marketing Manager to create and implement marketing strategies, oversee and project manage a variety of promotional activities for our online platforms & magazine titles, Elite Business LIVE and other new events and conference projects.
With a minimum of 3 years' experience in a marketing role accompanied with experience of managing a team and freelancers, you will possess excellent communication, organisation and creative skills.
As some of your responsibilities include email marketing, the skills of writing copy for SMEs and CRM systems are required. Additional experience of marketing national events is preferable.
This role is very dynamic as you will work alongside our editorial and design team and have the opportunity to market exclusive content and interviews with experts in the industry.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Management
Direct line manager to Digital and Communications Marketing assitants.
Recruitment, training, workplan and appraisal processes for relevant staff members
Ensure staff members are effectively fulfilling the objectives of their roles
Respond to daily queries/issues from Marketing Team, partners, sponsors and other departments
Responsible for management of the marketing team
Assisting the MD with driving the business forward and communicating messages affectively to the rest of the business
Database
Management of the data on the internal and external databases
Manage data uploads and effectively segment data to support relevant activity and encourage engagement
Manage/ oversee the group research budget; source new data, grow engagement
Marketing
Create, manage and promote all brands under the Channel Edge Media umbrella
Create innovative marketing plans utilizing direct mail, Internet, e-mail, social media, digital, offline, lead generation
Effectively communicate the each brand messages throughout all marketing materials
Plan and manage marketing budgets
Build and maintain effective websites and microsites
Reviewing, writing copy for sales brochures and promotional materials
Maintain, build relationships with partners to promote each brand and grow engagement
Oversee, track and measure PR activity - both online and offline
Create social media campaigns to promote the events and grow the magazines
Identify and utilise cross and portfolio marketing opportunities and techniques
Communicate and negotiate effectively with external suppliers to negotiate favourable rates, whilst maintaining quality and tight deadlines
Monitor all marketing responses and complete ongoing marketing analysis - during and after for all activities
Occasionally required to fulfill aspects of the Marketing Assistant role; including partner liaison, data export and administrative duties
