Due to immediate business expansion and volume increases, we have immediate requirements for a number of Machine Operators in a cosmetics/personal care/bulk liquids factory that is expanding - producing Clarins, Body Shop, Estee Lauder but to name a few.
We require a number of Machine Operators, responsible for the mixing and preparation of chemicals in a variety of forms, in order to generate bulk product ready for our filling operations. The role, reporting to our Manufacturing Manager, involves the creation of product using a mixture of raw materials in bulk format (up to 6T) using our bespoke mixing vessels.
We have the full Machine Operator positions available on a variety of shifts;
Days: Mon - Fri 06:00 - 14:00
Nights: Sun - Thurs 22:00 - 06:00
Based on 37.5 hours: paid work
All hires are likely to start on bronze and work through the development plan
There are roles on 6-2, 2-10 or 10-6 fixed - breakdown as follows this will give you an insight into the progression plan - hires can progress through from Bronze to Gold in 6 -12 months - discretionary performance
Bronze - GBP10.19 per hour = GBP19,946.93 per annum for 6-2,
GBP24,946,93 (GBP5,000 night shift allowance) for fixed Nights 10-6
O/T is paid on any hours over the standard, i.e. once 37.5 hours have been worked, and is paid at 1.5x Standard rate (excludes shift bonus)
There are a variety of benefits as standard, including HealthShield, annual leave, discounted on site canteen (which is amazing) and issue all employees with up to three products each week free of charge through our Staff Shop.
Silver - GBP11.38 per hour = GBP22,276.35 per annum + either GBP3300 late shift allowance or GBP5000 night shift allowance
Gold - GBP12.59 per hour = GBP24,644.93 per annum + either GBP3300 late shift allowance or GBP5000 night shift allowance
Platinum - GBP13.79 per hour = GBP26,993.93 per annum + either GBP3300 late shift allowance or GBP5000 night shift allowance
