Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Duct Fabricator/Fitter to join a very successful dust extraction manufacturer in Leicester. This role is working a day shift Monday-Thursday; 7:30am-4pm and Friday; 7:30am-3pm and is offering a starting pay rate of up to GBP14 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
The Job
As a Duct Fabricator/Fitter you will be responsible for both fabricating the ducting on site and fitting them at the client's location across Midlands (60% fabricating/ 40% fitting).
In order to fabricate the products you will be expected to be experienced and able in light gauge MIG Welding and operate machinery such as;
* Folding machines
* Band saws Brake presses
* CNC machinery
You will mainly work with galvanised steel but will also be expected to handle aluminium and mild and stainless steel.
When away to carry out fitting, you will be provided with a van and a fuel card aswell as receive GBP20 per day for food, digs and expenses when lodging away.
The Ideal Candidate
You will be a skilled Fabricator with experience in Duct Fabrication and ideally but not necessarily an IPAF licence. You will also hold a full driving licence.
