Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer job in Wellingborough. 70/30 mechanical bias. Days: 7am - 3.30pm Mon -Fri.

They have offered infrastructure rehabilitation and strengthening solutions to municipal clients throughout North America, Europe and Asia for more than 45 years. Their solutions have become some of the world's most widely used technologies. They are now looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their close knit engineering team.
Your new role
You will work in a small, close knit engineering team responsible for PPM and some reactive maintenance.Your role will involve the maintenance of a range of machinery including infusion lines, heavy duty sewing machinery, motorised rollers, gear chains and gear boxes. You will also be required to work extensively on hydraulics, pneumatics and PLCs.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a time served or apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer who is mechanically biased but holds some electrical skills and qualifications such as 17th edition. You have good experience of hydraulics and pneumatics and also PLCs. You can think on your feet and can demonstrate a "can do" attitude. You are a team player, a good communicator and you are able to make decisions and work on your own initiative.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to GBP35,000 + overtime paid at time and a half. There is also an extensive benefits package including a pension scheme and private healthcare. You will be asked to work day shifts of 7am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday and there is the possibility of a back shift when necessary to support production levels.
You will be working for a unique blue chip organisation with a turnover of 2 billion dollars and an extremely low labour turnover. This company will offer you job security working within a close knit, friendly team and there is the possibility of a step up to a managerial role within 3 - 5 years.
