We have a number of upcoming opportunities to support Educational Establishments across Dagenham: Becontree, Green Lane, Dagenham East and Dagenham Heathway for experienced Site Supervisors/ Caretakers.
Duties may include: opening and closing the buildings, setting alarms, manual labour, general cleaning, dealing with rubbish, moving of furniture and assisting with deliveries, basic maintenance and painting/ decorating, and ensuring Health and Safety on site etc.
Previous experience within an educational establishment is essential, along with a positive and friendly attitude.
You may be required to work a full day, or on a split-shift basis: an early morning start, and closing in the afternoon. You must also have flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends for governors meetings and private lettings.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. A registered Enhanced DBS check is advantageous, or you must be happy to have one processed.
