This new position within our clients web/ecommerce division will lead the definition, and the delivery of their UX, UI.
The canddiate will be a key ambassador of customer experience throughout the business, ensuring that the customer is at the heart of everything the business does.
The successful candidate will work closely with the trading, content and innovation teams to create superb experiences that excite customers. To achieve this, you will lead a team of UX Designers and Developers; you will be responsible for the professional development of these individuals and the growth of this crucial function.
You will have excellent knowledge and experience of User Experience principles and procedures, along with strong digital design skills and creative flair.
What we are looking:
* An inspirational and capable individual, experienced and a hands-on senior web designer/developer who understands the challenges in running a highly capable web production team
* User experience / customer journey evangelist who understands how to engineer web experiences that give users what they want
* Strong JavaScript/ES6, HTML5 and CSS3 (Sass/Less) skills
* Passionate about the latest best practice design & build approaches
