FULL TIME MECHANICAL TECHNICAL ENGINEER VACANCIES (EAY03645)
Experienced Full Time Mechanics Wanted
£12.28 - £13.38 per hour
+10% shift allowance, tool allowance and the possibility of overtime as and
when required.
East Ayrshire Council has several permanent vacancies for experienced and qualified mechanics to work within our Transport Services team at our vehicle repair facility in Crookedholm, Kilmarnock, to support delivery of our services in the local community.
We are looking for:
Previous experience as a qualified mechanic, ideally with HGV experience,
although this is not essential
- NVQ 3, City & Guilds or equivalent
- Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems
- Servicing experience
- An MOT testing qualification is desirable but as minimum must be open to training and qualification
- A category C licence with DCPC is desirable, but a full valid driving licence as a minimum
